The Knoxville Public Library Summer Reading Program Begins June 21st.  Programming time begins at 10 AM each Wednesday.  Events include:

Mr. Bruce Weaver and Friends, June 21st

Daniel Finds a Poem (from OneBook PA), June 28th

July 5th (no program planned)

Lego’s Build a World, July 12th

Deerfield/Knoxville Fire Department, Ambulance, and rescue helicopter, July 19th

Pennsylvania Lumber Museum, July 26th

Endless Mountain Music Festival concert, Monday, July 30th (final day of Summer Reading)

In addition, the permanent Rails to History Dates for 2017 
The model layout of 1950’s-era Knoxville with HO scale Railroad lines of NYC and WAG/B&O will be open:
Sat. June 10th – 1-4 PM
Sat. July 8th – 1-4 PM
Mon. July 31st – 12 PM- 1 PM
Sat. Aug. 12th – 1-4 PM
Sat. Sept. 16th – SMALL ENGINE SHOW – 10 AM-4 PM
Other times by appointment

For adults and children, we will have a visit from Ulysses S. Grant (Kenneth Serfass) on August 12th.  A must for Civil War and history enthusiast.  The facebook page: US Grant in living history
